A BIKE FOR EVERYONE

Transport poverty affects one-fifth of the population. As many as 392,000 households in Flanders do not have a bicycle at home. Cycling to school, going to the shop, getting an education, applying for a job and working, visiting family, going to your hobby or sports club, ... A large group of people, from young to old, hardly get around because of financial, physical or mental barriers. They experience transport poverty on a daily basis and thus miss opportunities for education, work and social contacts.

De Fietsersbond, the Network Against Poverty and Cera join forces in the fight against transport poverty with the ‘A Bike for Everyone’ project call.
